The Human Resrouces (Host Experience) Generalist works with all levels of management and departments to ensure HR (Human Resources) enables our company to achieve our strategic business objectives. Provide HR guidance and support to all levels of employees and management

- Provide employee relations guidance to employees and management by actively responding with sensitivity to the needs of employees and leadership.
- Oversee the day-to-day support of Human Resources for on-site as well as assist with store support in collaboration with HR team.
- Drive and implement employee engagement initiatives at site in conjunction with site leaders and review the impact of action items and programs.
- Assist with the on-boarding functions for new employees including system new employee orientation and necessary coordination of new employee training.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; assess, communicate, interpret, and administer updated HR policies and procedures.
- Serve as the onsite contact for employees and management seeking answers and advice on benefits, FMLA, workers’ comp, disability, etc.
- Handle, in collaboration with HR Director, employee relations matters including workplace complaints, investigations, conflict resolution.
- Ensure new hires and terminations are processed and employee data is current and accurate within HRIS system and maintains proper employee files in accordance with policy and law.
- Review and update HR reports, scorecard, presentations and other HR materials as needed
- Assist in other activities, as necessary
- BS or BA degree in human resources, business management or related field
- 3-5 years generalist experience, preferably in wholesale/distribution environment
- PHR/SHRM CP Certification
