Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic individual to join our growing Human Resources team as an HR Generalist. This is an exciting opportunity to join glassybaby during our expansion to Livingston, MT. In this role, you will perform various HR responsibilities, including talent acquisition, onboarding, safety, and general administrative support to the Livingston location. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, full cycle recruiting experience, and organizational skills. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources in Redmond, WA.


Primary Duties:

  • Serve as a point of contact to team members, answer questions, and help employees navigate all aspects of HR

  • Lead the full cycle recruitment + selection process, ensuring a robust talent pipeline

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods (job boards, collaborating with local schools/groups, etc).

  • Develop recruiting goals and objectives; remain current with market trends

  • Conduct all interview process with high degree of professionalism

  • Facilitate the offer process + ensure engaging, smooth onboarding processes

  • Support in the delivery of HR programs and processes related to workforce planning, employee engagement, performance reviews, talent development, and overall talent management

  • In collaboration with the Payroll + Benefits Administrator, support safety, benefits, and FMLA programs

  • Remain up to date on local employment legislation and compliance

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Three (3) years of recruiting, HR generalist, HR admin experience (combined)

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Paychex experience a plus)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ? outlook, excel, word

  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.

  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.

  • SHRM designation preferred

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Frequent sitting and standing and occasional walking. Must be able to speak and hear well enough to conduct conversations. Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work in an environment where noise level is usually moderate. Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; must be able to reach with hands and arms.
