POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for databases, processing reimbursements, various clerical tasks, and special projects. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and will be based in Scottdale, PA in the Human Resources Department.
Essential Functions:
- Assists with the administration of outsourced driver qualification files by utilizing the vendor s software portal.
- Reconciles monthly vendor invoice for outsourced driver qualification services.
- Utilizes the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) module within the Company s ERP.
- Prepares, organizes, secures, scans, files and maintains human resource information, general correspondence, legal documents, and other related documents into the Company s ERP.
- Interfaces with managers, employees, and co-workers relating to human resources issues.
- Tracks reimbursements to employees for CDL licenses, DOT physicals, and prescription safety glasses.
- Enters employee attendance of safety training sessions into appropriate database.
- Complies with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
- Assists the Human Resources staff with various administrative tasks of a clerical nature.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate s Degree in Human Resources preferred, or equivalent combination of experience/education.
- At least two (2) years of experience working in Human Resources preferred.
- Experience with an ERP system is preferred.
- Experience with an HRIS preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Work Schedule:
- This is an on-site position located in Scottdale, PA, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Rate of Pay: Varies depending upon Skills and Experience.
