HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

FPC International, Inc., is seeking a motivated, technically savvy and strong problem solver to join our Human Resources team as the HR Coordinator. In this role, the Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department in all HR related activities such as benefits, employee relations, talent management, talent acquisition & onboarding, employee engagement, employee events, HR and system administration. This role will work hand in hand with the HR team and subsidiary employees to maintain strong working relationships.

Location: Warrensville Heights, OH (4520 Richmond Rd.)

Reports to: HR Director (who is located in onsite).

Team Dynamics: On a team with the HR Director and Sr. HR Generalist.

The Ideal Candidate will have: Exposure to all aspects of the Human Resources function through previous experience or internships. The successful candidate will possess a willingness to learn, grow and demonstrate a can do attitude.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supports employee benefit open enrollment, coordination and communication efforts, system changes and serves as initial employee point of contact for employee questions. Supports billing auditing efforts monthly.
  • Assists with employee relations matters as it pertains to unemployment claims, employee documentation, and coordination for investigations as needed. Will update HRIS (UKG) in conjunction with employee relations activities in a timely matter.
  • Works closely with the Human Resources team on all talent acquisition coordination such as posting open positions, initial screening, scheduling interviews and candidate communications. Guides new hires through the onboarding process.
  • Works closely within the HRIS (UKG) to produce ad hoc or routine reports and update employee information. Will engage with various aspects of the HRIS such as home page updates, recruiting gateway, learning and development, and time management.
  • Plans, implements and participates in employee events such as wellness, employee engagment efforts, benefit meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs necessary administrative duties including meeting coordination, filing and organizing paperwork.

Background you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or closely related field.
  • A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of Human Resources experience in an increasingly expanded role.

OR

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of four (4) years of Human Resources experience in lieu of a Bachelor degree.
