Description

Provides HR support to a specific United States Postal Service (USPS) STC location. Duties include scheduling interviews, data entry, new hire input, scanning documents, assisting and conducting new hire orientation, making ID badges, updating job postings, etc.

  • Provides clerical support to the HR Generalist and corporate HR Manager.
  • Processes HR documents. This includes data entry of employee information including new hire paperwork and change paperwork. The information in the documents is absolutely confidential and must be handled in the most professional manner.
  • Assists in scheduling, screening, and processing candidates and new hires. Including checking backgrounds, tracking drug tests and processing I-9’s and E-verify.
  • Assists and conducts new hire orientation and training. This includes creating new hire packets, orientation set-up, assisting new employees in obtaining their USPS clearance, coordinating with the hiring managers, making new employee badges, and answering applicant questions.
  • Answers routine employee questions and provides employee information as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

Required

High School or better.
