THIS JOB IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $1000 NEW HIRE BONUS**


Starting Pay Range $115,000 to $139,000 annual based on experience

Those who are fluent in Spanish are eligible for a language differential pay.

Our Human Resources Director is responsible for driving HR strategic and operational activities, actively leading and managing talent acquisition and engagement, compensation and benefits, compliance and legal policies, as well as employee relations functions. This position will help develop and provide critical support for the organization’s DEI strategy.


Here is a snapshot of what our HR Director’s day-to-day looks like:

  • Creates, oversees and implements human resources strategies in HR core areas: talent acquisition and retention, compensation and payroll, benefits administration, DEI, policies and procedures, leave administration, talent development and training, employee engagement and relations, evaluations and performance management, employee on and off boarding programs, workplace investigations, and AA/EEO administration.
  • Coaches credit union leaders on their own performance and leadership practices to support the development of their staff into a high performing team.
  • Leads compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal requirements including any related to EEO, ADA, FMLA/OFLA, DOL, Unemployment, etc.
  • Administers the employee compensation and benefits programs and budget, adhering to budgetary guidelines to contribute to cost-effective operations, while providing value to employees and enhancing the Credit Union’s ability to attract and retain quality employees; ensures development and maintenance of a competitive compensation philosophy, structure and pay policies and prepares annual Pay Equity report.
  • Supervises a team of HR professionals and creates an encouraging environment by coaching, mentoring, and developing HR employees; provide frequent feedback regarding individual performance and ensure the team receives ongoing training
  • Fosters a creative, high-performing, collaborative, diverse and inclusive work environment that reflects and advances the Credit Union’s culture, vision, and core values.
  • Advises on and implements organization’s DEI strategy, provides structure and leadership to DEI committee and prepares annual report.
