Human Resource Assistant (HR)
Job description
The Bay at Belmont located on the westside of Madison is currently interviewing for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant. This is an important department head position which manages all of the human resource functions for the skilled nursing facility, which includes onboarding of new hires, training, time card managment and employee retention.
This Human Resources Assistant will:
- Manage interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
- Ensure The Bay at Belmont's compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
- Maintain HR systems and processes
- Design and implement employee retention strategies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience using HRIS systems preferred
- 1+ year of experience working as a HR support or similiar role
- Prior experience working in Healthcare
- Strong attention to details and communication skills
