Family Services of Westchester is currently seeking a HRIS Analyst. The HRIS Analyst works as part of the HR team to help develop and manage Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The HRIS Analyst will work with Sr. Director, HR Operations and Compensation to be able to recommend, implement, modify, and upgrade HR software, and train colleagues in its use. Position will be hybrid onsite and remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish strategy for entering and maintaining critical HR information within HRIS system (currently ADP Workforce Now) in collaboration with HR and payroll department personnel;
  • Enter and maintain data held within the HRIS system (currently ADP Workforce Now) and ensure timeliness and accuracy of data;
  • Enter and maintain data in various external websites including OMH and COPA;
  • Perform regular audits within the HRIS systems to ensure accuracy;
  • Prepare and run a variety of ad hoc reports as requested by management including turnover analysis;
  • Provide functional and technical support for HRIS systems;
  • Assist in streamlining processes to leverage technology for department, employees and applicants;
  • Support maintenance of data for regulatory requirements including The Joint Commission, HRSA, DOL, etc.
  • Provide support to finance/payroll as needed for audits and related requests;
  • Participate in the department’s weekly staff meetings;
  • Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation as needed;
  • Meet deadlines on assigned projects;
  • Maintain employee confidentiality in the management of information;
  • Collaborate with other staff and departments as needed;

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years’ experience required;
  • 1 – 2 years experience as an HRIS Analyst or similar role required;
  • Advanced computer and internet navigational skills required;
  • Computer literacy with Windows-based operating systems and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required;
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems required; ADP Workforce Now and/or Paycom preferred;
  • Attention to detail and ability to work entire day on a computer required;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
