Job description
GEODynamics is looking for a qualified candidate for HR Coordinator. This position will provide HR support for the Benbrook, TX location consisting of approximately 50 employees as well as share HR support for the Millsap location consisting of approximately 215 employees. Upon successful completion of training into the Human Resource Department at our Millsap, TX location the individual will primarily reside in the Benbrook, TX location reporting to HR Manager in Millsap, TX.
Key Accountabilities
- Supports recruitment activities by posting positions, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and ensuring pre-employment requirements are competed before candidate's start date
- Prepares necessary documentation for employee onboarding, termination, resignation, may include conducting exit interviews
- Responds to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provides assistance as needed
- Maintains personnel records to ensure all employment requirement are met
- Assists with planning event programs such as service awards, wellness events, etc
- Maintains job description library and assists in updating job descriptions
- Supports HR department/staff with projects as necessary
- Process bi-weekly payroll
Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge
- Human Resources experience in manufacturing preferred
- HR Certification preferred, but not required (PHR/SHRM-CP)
- 2-3 Years of experience working in an administrative support function
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals at varying levels within the organization
- Intermediate to advance MS office, Word and Excel required
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Strong organizational skills and good communication
