The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented HR Coordinator.
After onsite training/orientation in Richmond, VA, a hybrid work from home option is possible for this position.
The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Coordinator is to direct and plan the human resource function of the CBO. Provides support to the leadership team and staff concerning all areas of human resources including employee relations recruitment and retention, salary and wage administration, benefit administration and worker’s compensation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for recruitment and selection activities including compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
- Provide employee relation guidance to leadership team including disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans and terminations.
- Represent company at various functions (examples: job fairs, unemployment hearings, EEOC investigations).
- Coordinate benefit functions with company policies and procedures
- Responsible for payroll processing.
- Responsible fore Worker’s Compensation case management
- Conduct preliminary screening of applicants by obtaining information about skills, ability and experience.
- Plan and coordinate employee relations, recognition and social events.
- Work as a resource and liaison between corporate HR and the CBO.
- Prepare and conduct new hire orientation
- Explain and answer questions for employees concerning personnel policies, benefits and other HR issues.
- Other duties as assigned
