As part of the group HR team based in the headquarters of the Bauer Media Group in Hamburg, the HR Business Partner for Group Business Partner Teams (m/f/d) supports the Senior HRBP for Group Executives and Reward in all people matters along the HR cycle. Thereby the HR Business Partner for Group Business Partner Teams shall provide high-quality and target-group oriented HR operations, service and consulting for all managers and employees across the business units and contribute to the execution of corporate HR processes within the respective international environment.

The Group Business areas are under major transition from locally based responsibilities towards matrix ways of working. The adding value of this role is to understand the people side of transformation and support the Group business partners to further develop their organizations towards modern and integrated functions while keeping motivation and efficiency of the teams high. The person will report to the Senior HR Business Partner for Group Executives and Reward.

Your responsibilities

  • Support managers and employees in all people related matters
  • Understand the needs of your business functions and provide tools and policies to foster the organizational development
  • Communicate and implement central HR strategies, policies, and practices
  • Improve the relationship between HR, managers, and employees
  • Manage headcount via Resource Steering
  • Provide guidance during phases of organizational change
  • Provide and manage data-based HR KPIs for fact-based decision making

Your profile

  • University degree, preferably in international business administration, international law or any other discipline complementary to the role
  • Ideally 3 to 5 years HR Business Partner experience in an international environment
  • A solid understanding of people needs working in an international, functionally driven change environment
  • Intercultual experience
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Pricise, reliable and trustful
  • Future oriented, solution driven and resilient
  • Fluent in verbal and written English is required
  • Additional languages such as German, Polish, Spanish etc. would be advantageous
