Job Summary



Come join the Benton County Human Resources Team as a Human Resources Administrative Specialist! In this position you will be a part of an experienced and fun team of 10 human resources professionals supporting a government agency of approximately 500 employees.

Job Summary
This position provides administrative and technical support to the recruiting program and HR Department that includes but is not limited to data entry, coordinating and scheduling meetings and events, assisting with New Employee Orientation, processing invoices and purchase card transactions, organizing and maintaining personnel records, responding to requests for employment verifications, ordering office supplies, and serving as HR receptionist.
Please Note:
  • T his is a temporary position, not to exceed 1040 hours in a fiscal year.
  • Work shifts to be determined with candidate and business needs respectively.

Minimum Qualifications
The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
  • High school diploma or GED; AND
  • 3 years experience providing general office or clerical support in a HR or related environment.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least six months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.
