PPEP Human Services is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Construction Supervisor ready to make a difference. Come join a dynamic team providing career training of youth in the construction field in the Somerton/San Luis/Yuma AZ area. Training activities that involve the building of low income affordable housing, rehabilitation projects, and other related activities on partner construction sites.

This is a hands on position. Must be willing and able to model and perform construction duties on a daily basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 Five (5) years of direct construction related skills, knowledge, experience, and blue print reading.
 Ability to communicate, organizes, coordinate, supervise, manage, and train others to accomplish housing goals while working directly with student trainees.
 Works with students on various community service projects.
 Valid Arizona driver’s license and clearance/approval from corporate auto insurer.
 Must possess a Class I FBI Fingerprint and Background Clearance Card or be able to pass both background check and Fingerprint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 Six to ten years prior work experience in Direct Construction field with experience in actual building of homes and or commercial buildings.
 BS degree in related field.
 Bilingual (English/Spanish)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 Must be able to see/read a computer monitor screen.
 Must be able to write written reports and collect data
 Must be able to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds.
 Must be able to drive a car and travel as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
