SUMMARY
Supervises Housekeeping staff, in the performance of duties which comprise the Housekeeping Program, to ensure a clean, safe, attractive environment is provided in support of overall business operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes but not limited to the following)
· Coordinates storage of equipment and supplies, inventories equipment and supplies, coordinates equipment and supplies orders, provides equipment and supplies to Housekeeping staff.
· Monitors procedures for work performed by Housekeeping staff, to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained; develops and postswork assignments in support of overall business and departmental operations.
· Coordinates and processes annual, refresher and new hire training for Housekeeping staff; submits applicable completion of training documentation to Human Resources.
· Supervises staff performing housekeeping duties; facilitates responses to requests for Housekeeping service.
· Coordinates project and special event Housekeeping support.
· Conducts pre-shift briefings with Housekeeping staff; communicates and/or distributes pertinent information, addresses concerns or issues and fields questions.
· Inspects and monitors the condition of areas serviced by Housekeeping; ensures Housekeeping service discrepancies are corrected; submits Facilities Work Orders for correction of building discrepancies.
· Proficient at utilizing Email, Excel and Word.
· Assists the Director of Housekeeping with the interview and hiring process, coaching and counseling for improved performance, Corrective Counseling Process and other personnelmatters, as may be assigned.
· The Housekeeping Supervisor reports violations of rules of conduct or other infractions of company policy to the Director of Housekeeping, at which time the Director of Housekeepingmay investigate and take action as deemed necessary.
· Excel at planning and organizing, demonstrate ability to communicate in a constructive manner and practice outstanding team building skills.
QUALIFICATIONS

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
· This position exercises authority and supervisory capacity over all Housekeeping Team Members.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Experience in housekeeping is preferred and not required,where housekeeping activities were conducted in a public setting.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions, applicable forms, and memos in English. Ability to complete required forms. The ability to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management, guests, service providers, suppliers and Team Members.
REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to resolvepractical problems and deal with variables present in varioussituations, by exercising discretion and sound judgement. Ability to interpret various directions and instructions furnished in drawing, oral, picture, symbol or written form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
· Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend, lift, push, pull, reach, stand and/or walk. Must be able to lift between 40 - 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· Conditions of the work environment described here are representative of those a Team Member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Noise levels in the work environment are usually loud. Must be able to adapt well to a work environment, involving large numbers of people, along with continuously high and loud noise levels. Must also be able to psychologically handle the concepts of persons occupying an establishment for the purposes of gambling, drinking, eating and smoking for extended periods of time.
