The Housekeeping Inspector is primarily responsible for the general inspection of all work performed by Housekeeping personnel and assists with the supervision, direction and training of personnel. Duties include but are not limited to: visually inspecting rooms in detail with emphasis on producing a consistent product property-wide; coaching and training personnel on proper and effective cleaning methods to produce quality results; organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines; producing and maintaining various reports; and providing exemplary service to all guests including facilitating resolutions to any potential issues.

Requirements

• Ability to visually inspect rooms with high detail and consistency.
• Ability, experience and knowledge to train housekeepers and general cleaners in cleaning methods.
• Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to Housekeeping personnel.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to listen effectively and speak English clearly.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in material handling and MSDS, bloodborne pathogens.
