The Concept: Located in the Graduate Hotel in Downtown Providence, Reiners Bar and Game Room is open seven days a week with a menu that consists of high-end pub craft fare and a vast selection of craft beers, wines and inventive cocktails.

As a Host, you are responsible for building connections with our guests while being passionate about people, welcoming, in control and are there to help ensure quality of facilities and services. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Warmly greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
- Provide guests with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls
- Receive and record dining reservations using OpenTable
- Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed.
- Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings.
- Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Food Handler Certification
- Good communication skills and phone etiquette
- Flexibility when working alternating shifts (i.e. variety of hours, days, nights, weekends)
- Positive attitude and interpersonal skills along with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
