Position Summary:
Responsible for providing high quality, cost-effective, and evidence based medical care to the hospitalized patients as well as providing support to our surgical and specialty services through consultative general medicine practice. The Hospitalist is responsible for coordinating care for patients at discharge, and facilitating hand-off to the outpatient physician.
1. MD or DO Degree
2. Current licensure by the State of Tennessee as a medical doctor or osteopathic physician.
3. Current DEA number.
4. Able to demonstrate leadership, managerial ability, good interpersonal relationships, and apply sound administrative principles.
5. Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
6. Current ACLS certification

Schedule: Part Time, Nights, 7p -7a 2 nights every other week (Fri/Sat)
