Position Summary:

The Sterile Processing Department assistant is responsible for supporting the functions of the department by decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies and maintaining vendor inventory management including SPD supply inventory levels. This individual also assures surgical trays are available and in good condition when needed and assists with the transportation of vendor loaner trays, equipment, and supplies.
