Visiting Angels of Lynchburg is looking to hire a part-time or full-time PCA or CNA Caregiver to provide in-home services to our clients. We are looking for those who have a passion for caring for others in a one-on-one environment. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow aging adults to remain in their homes where they are surrounded by their fondest memories, all the things that they love and where they can meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Our goal is to enhance the lives of aging adults throughout our community by brightening their lives while assisting them in their everyday needs. Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes
• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing and dressing
• Help with household errands and provide transportation to and from appointments
• Perform grocery shopping, meal preparation tasks, and light housekeeping
• Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders throughout the day

Requirements:

• Must have a valid 40 hour PCA certificate or a CNA certificate
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States (we are not able to provide sponsorship)
• Two satisfactory professional references
• Driver’s License and Reliable transportation
• Dependable and empathetic
• Must Be Able to Speak and Read English
• Available 30 hours+ per week preferred
• Dementia Experience Preferred
