High School STEM (Physics and Math) Teacher
Job description
Desired skills and experience include:
A degree in physics or related field, or a degree in education with coursework in STEM, or experience teaching high school physics and/or math.

Ability to connect with students and convey enthusiasm for content and skills of courses. -
Ability to support student development as analytical thinkers, researchers, and writers. -
Ability to break down and scaffold content of physics and math courses to maximize student learning. -
Classroom management and organizational skills. -
Ability to differentiate content for students with a variety of strengths and skill levels. -
Comfort with educational technology, including computers and learning management systems, for example Google Classroom.
Past teaching experience and certifications in Pennsylvania for math are ideal but not required.
