Job description

The Regency Assisted Living, located in the heart of Glen Cove since 1993, is licensed as an Assisted Living Residence (ALR) with an Enhanced Assisted Living Residence (EALR) license as well, which allows our residents to comfortably “age in place”.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA credentialed from the New York Department of Health
• Reading, and writing, grammar skills
• Interpersonal relations and communicative skills
• Able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 50 pounds or less

Responsibilities

• Shall be responsible for assisting our clients in maintaining their safety, independence and well being by following the established plan, providing assistance with activities of daily living, such as assisting with personal hygiene, supervision of the residents.
• Provide basic patient care to residents.
• Report findings or changes in residents physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff or other authority.
• Dispense medication to residents according to doctor’s orders.*

Shifts Available

• Sunday-Thursday: 7 AM-3:30 PM
• Sunday-Thursday/Tuesday-Saturday: 3 PM-11:30 PM
• Sunday-Thursday/Tuesday-Saturday: 11 PM-7:30 AM
• FULL TIME & PART TIME ARE WELCOME TO APPLY

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
