Helpline Pregnancy Educator

The American Pregnancy Association is a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit located in Irving, TX, promoting healthy pregnancies through education, counseling, support, and referrals to resources in the local community. A.P.A. seeks a Helpline Pregnancy Educator to support our toll-free helpline and online chats.

Responsibilities

· Provide counseling, education, and support to individuals seeking information on pregnancy-related topics

· Handle inbound calls, chats lines, and some outbound calls

· Keep records of all conversations in our call center database

· Identify customer needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions

Qualifications:

· Associates degree perferred (nurse, social worker, counseling, and mental health preferred)

· Possess excellent communication skills, including articulate and clear verbal and written communication

· Passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, particularly in the realm of pregnancy health education.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
