J.E. Shekell’s service department is growing again, and we are adding a 3rd Service Manager to join our team.

POSITION INFORMATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

As a Service Manager you will enjoy utilizing your skills and experience ensuring each team member assigned to you, completes each job to our customer’s expectations, while maintaining our quality and performance standards along with providing an excellent customer experience.

· Ability to work in a fast -paced environment

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Provide customer repair and replacement estimates in a timely and professional manner and follow through to completion.
• Plan and Manage in a safe and efficient servicing of new and existing, equipment, components, and systems.
• Provide overall outstanding support to our people and our customers.
• Strong understanding of residential, commercial/industrial services.
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current service jobs and small projects.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and bid strategy meetings when requested.
• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Promote the company's vision, values and expertise.
• Be a mentor and a team leader.
• Excellent customer and employee relations and satisfaction.
• Review subcontractor work scopes and contact subcontractors & vendors to secure quotes & estimates.
• Consistent in adhering to company operations and procedures
• Contact suppliers for cost information and material availability.
• Manage multiple jobs and people at the same time.
• Maintain detailed estimate and project files.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail.

Strong work ethic.

• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Experience using MS Suite and Service Titan a plus.
• Provide assistance to dispatchers, work colleagues, purchasing department and safety manager.

EXPERIENCE

o Res/Commercial HVAC experience: 5 years (Preferred)

o Service Management: 5 years (Preferred)

· This Position Reports To: The Company’s Service Director.

Work hours are 7:00am to 5:00 pm. Some additional hours as needed

· The travel involved is to job sites, and to job meetings.
