This program manager position earns a competitive salary of up to $50,000 per year, based on experience and certifications, and will start on July 1st, 2023. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEALTHY FAMILIES SUPERVISOR
As a program manager, you are the vital supervision that ensures children and families receive quality services. Your superior leadership qualities provide 1.5 to 2-hour weekly supervision with Family Support Specialists to discuss families served, review documentation, provide reflective supervision, and offer support. With excellent organizational and time management skills you provide timely annual evaluations, ensure all grants are met, meet the program's service goals, conduct team building activities, visit with community partners, and attend events. You critically think about community relations and development by helping develop the local KCSL Community Leadership Development Council (CLDC) and provide opportunities for CLDC members to volunteer with the program. You enjoy utilizing efficient self-motivation to successfully accomplish daily activities independently while also interacting with Family Support Specialists, our Assistant Director, community councils, and healthcare agencies in significant collaborative work.
HEALTHY FAMILIES SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Human Services or related fields OR Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience working with children and families
- Knowledge of infant and child development and parent-child attachment
- Leadership ability
Our ideal program manager preferably has infant mental health endorsement level III or IV, experience with reflective practice, and development experience including grant writing and fundraising! HEALTHY FAMILIES SUPERVISOR WORK SCHEDULE
Typically, our full-time program manager works Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Your schedule emits valuable time for both work and home!
