Job Summary:
We welcome you to join the Olathe Health team as a Group Practice Manager. As the Group Practice Manager, you will support the overall purpose, strategy, and initiatives of the organization while having responsibility for the day to day operations of multiple clinic locations. The Group Practice Manager will be required to effectively work with matrix partners including but not limited to the medical leadership, organizational business partners, and outside entities that may be contracted for services through OHPI. The Group Practice Manager is responsible for the patient experience, operations, associates, and other duties for their assigned locations. The Group Practice Manager is responsible for implementing new processes, metrics, and other reporting as determined by OHPI leadership. The Group Practice Manager will also ensure that their OHPI locations are ran in an efficient manner and provide an outstanding patient experience for the customers they serve. The Group Practice Manager must be an effective communicator who is capable of interacting with physicians, providers, and other clinicians on a routine basis. The Group Practice Manager must possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information from multiple sources.

Minimum Requirements:
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Minimum
- Graduate Degree Preferred
- Previous Healthcare Experience 4 years experience in a healthcare or clinic setting Minimum
- Previous Healthcare Experience Prior leadership or management experience in a physician practice is preferred Minimum
- Interact with patients, associates, physicians, providers, and other clinicians, in a professional manner (Minimum proficiency)
- Must be able to critically think in order to solve patient and operating issues as they arise (Minimum proficiency)
- Must posses the ability to act as a patient liaison and a customer service recovery agent (Minimum proficiency)
- Manage clinic processes including but not limited to registration, scheduling, patient flow, clinic workflow, agenda creation, report creation, and Lean concepts (Minimum proficiency)
- Capable of using Microsoft Office products to prepare and present business products to OHPI leadership and physicians (Minimum proficiency)
- Experience working with an electronic medical record (Minimum proficiency)
- Effectively manage associates across multiple sites and services (Minimum proficiency)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assesses patient satisfaction data, resolves patient complaints and implements actions plan for necessary changes. Resolves patient complaints. Assesses patient satisfaction, quality improvement, and financial data at least monthly and monitors for areas that need improvement. Actively engages all members of the care team in the development of goals to continually improve our organizations selected quality improvement measures at a minimum of quarterly.
- Maintains positive working relationship with patients, clinic staff, Providers, OHP Administrative staff and other OHP staff. Resolves conflicts to maintain a positive work environment. Identifies opportunities to improve the customer experience and implements new programs as directed by OHP.
- Establish and maintain schedules for Nursing, Front Office and Providers. This will include (but not limited to) maintenance and oversight of Provider in-clinic schedules, Provider on-call schedule and Shared Physician in-clinic schedule.
- Participates in interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating, and counseling clinic personnel. Coordinates and conducts staff meetings on a monthly basis. Prepares the agenda to include at a minimum; current customer service survey data, quality improvement measures, EMR updates, staffing updates, new equipment training, and general information that affects clinic flow. Services as a role model for customer service and provides training to staff and physician per guidelines.
- Participates in the development and monitoring of the budget and inventory levels. Follows appropriate procedures for purchasing which includes requisitions, approval process and invoice management. Completes and explains both staff budget variance and expense budget variance on a monthly basis, timely and accurately.
