Role Overview: As a Product Manager for Driveline Actuator Drives, you will be responsible for global profit and loss management of specific products within our portfolio. You will drive the execution of profit protection and growth strategies worldwide. In addition, you will provide direct and indirect management to a team of Program Managers. Your role will involve project budgeting, planning, and oversight, as well as leading the development of sales growth strategies through technology projects and capacity utilization. Ensuring operational performance and optimizing product costs will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee global profit and loss management for designated Driveline Actuator Drives products
• Drive profit protection and growth efforts worldwide
• Manage and provide guidance to Program Managers
• Develop strategies for sales growth by identifying technology projects and optimizing capacity utilization
• Ensure operational performance and implement product cost optimization activities
• Collaborate with the Change Management Office to drive necessary changes
• Lead project budgeting, planning, and oversight from D0 to D5 stages
• Utilize advanced understanding of operations topics such as NCC1, OEE, FPY, etc.
• Demonstrate intermediate competency in mechanical engineering, including reading drawings and specifications, and basic competency in electrical and software engineering
• Utilize advanced understanding of inputs and profitability calculations for project business cases (PCIS, RoS, IRR, etc.)
• Effectively communicate with customers through presentation generation and delivery
• Willingness to travel globally (approximately 10-20%) to ensure business success

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, leading project management and execution
• Experience in leading and managing people, both directly and indirectly
• Proven leadership abilities in a global network, with at least 10 years of experience working across multiple regions (NA/EU/AS)
• Advanced understanding of operations topics, such as NCC1, OEE, FPY, etc.
• Intermediate competency in mechanical engineering, with the ability to read drawings and specifications, and basic competency in electrical and software engineering
• Strong understanding of inputs and profitability calculations for project business cases (PCIS, RoS, IRR, etc.)
• Proficient in customer communication through effective presentation generation and delivery
• Willingness to travel globally (approximately 10-20%)

• Foster collaboration and partnerships across central functions, product groups, regions, and factories for increased speed and impact
• Identify pioneering solutions and ideas to secure, improve, and expand business opportunities and results

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in multiple languages such as German, Spanish, or Mandarin
• 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with exposure to at least two different roles such as project management, development, sales/account management, product management, operations, R&D, etc.
• Specific experience in managing and/or producing BLDC motors
