American Security Associates Inc., operates in over 21 different states. We are currently conducting interviews in the Lima Ohio area.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Establish a security presence. Monitor foot and vehicle traffic in and out of the facility, patrol property.

· Must be able to read and follow post orders.

· Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings.

· Announce deliveries as well as visitors, and contractors.

· Greet employees and visitors as they arrive and assist with any concerns they might have.

· Complete reports and other required documentation. Write reports for all security incidents.

· Monitor alarms and security cameras, answer phones, provide information, directions and general guidance.

· Complete daily rounds of site, being watchful for suspicious persons and/or activities, inspect buildings, equipment and access points. Serve as a deterrent to persons who have intent to committing criminal acts.

· Other duties as needed.

· 32 hours a week completes our FULL time position.

Candidates must meet the following:

· Be able to pass drug and background checks

· Have your own transportation

· Be free of any felony convictions

· Have a high school diploma or equivalent

· Age 25 years or older

· Must be alert, comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.

· Have proficient written and oral communication skills plus a working knowledge of an IPad. Be willing to utilize your personal "hot spot" for report purposes.

· All employees are required to wear the provided uniform. Keep clean and neat appearance with good personal hygiene.

· Employee must have polite, courteous and helpful conduct when working with direct client population and fellow Security Officers.

· Previous security experience a plus.
