- Tuition-FT employees, their spouse & dependents are eligible for coverage of full Grayson College tuition amount.
- 45% Provides professional counseling services to students in need. Assists in the ongoing development of the database for personal counseling. Prepares reports and documentation as required. Refers students to community resources as needed. Responds to campus mental health emergencies and provides crisis counseling as needed (maintains on-call status).
- 20% Serves as the chair of the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT). Works with the co-chair in triage duties and follow up reports. Facilitates BIT meetings, training, and other communication.
- 10% Foster Care Liaison: Works with foster care youth who are taking college classes and students who are no longer under foster care because of age or adoption.
- 10% Assists with social service programs on campus, including emergency housing and food assistance.
- 10% Assists with developing outcomes, accountability, and predictive analytics for students receiving emergency aid services and the student population in general.
- 5% Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

- A Master's degree in Counseling with Licensed Profession Counselor-Associate, or Licensed Master Social Worker Under Supervision taking one year or more of internship beyond a Master's degree.
- Two to five years of similar or related experience.
- Computer proficiency required (MS Office products preferred) with the ability to learn new systems and applications as needed.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous experience with grant administration preferred.
- A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
- Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature.
- Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
- Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
