The Challenge:
As a Graphic Design Specialist, you’ll work to develop graphics for print and display. Working with your team of subject matter experts, analysts, and leaders, and alongside information technology specialists and business strategists, you’ll identify clients’ communication needs, gather design requirements, and develop impactful and memorable visual solutions. You’ll maintain, manage, organize, and catalog a repository of multimedia files to provide solutions to your team more efficiently. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced client needs clearly, and you’ll aid your team as they fulfill these needs by creating presentations and documentation. Together, you’ll deliver high value business products to clients.
In this role, you'll need to consult directly with clients, in-person at their location and via remote technologies. You'll assist with whiteboarding concepts. You'll convert sketches, descriptions, and notes into highly polished, digital graphics which are used in executive level presentations and stakeholder documentation. You'll have access to Adobe Creative Cloud applications to design effective visuals. You'll manage and contribute to a repository of existing visual and multimedia files. Using version control best practices, you'll respond to and fulfill requests for new and existing graphics. You'll seek out and understand the clients' needs to design graphics.

You Have:
- 2+ years of experience with graphic design
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience laying out and presenting graphics for print and screen, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of file transfer, file storage, and version control using Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive
- Ability to design conceptual graphics, PowerPoint templates, icon sets, and vector graphics
- Ability to consult with clients in-person at the client site
- Ability to provide a portfolio of design projects
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Marketing, Art, or Web Development
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with in-person and virtual presentations, interpersonal communications, customer support, and collaboration skills
- Experience designing marketing, advertising, art, and illustration graphics
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of the DoD and U.S. Navy
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,900.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
