Zislis Group, the South Bay’s premiere hospitality group, is looking for a Graphic Design and Website Manager!

The Zislis Group provides marketing, financial, HR, and operations services to the South Bay’s best hotel, restaurant, and beer brands; Shade Hotels (Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach), Rock’n Fish (Manhattan Beach), The Strand House (Manhattan Beach), Brewco (Manhattan Beach), The Brews Hall (Torrance and Hermosa Beach), and Buzzrock Brewing Company. The Graphic Design and Website Manager will oversee the graphic design and web development for all of these diverse properties. In addition to a focus on existing properties, this individual will work directly with the VP of Marketing on various new projects and initiatives.

The Graphic Design and Website Manager is a full-time salaried position, and reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing. The salary is negotiable, and dependent on the candidate’s level of experience. The Graphic Design and Website Manager will work out of the home office in Downtown Manhattan Beach (steps from the ocean!). This is a Monday-Friday position, with occasional nights and weekends for emergency troubleshooting.

What you will do…

50% Graphic Design

• Create visual and imagery concepts to inspire, inform, and captivate consumers.
• Email newsletters, web design, social media, print graphics including brochures, menus, and in-house documents (training materials, google slides, etc).
• Maintain existing branding and re-fresh as needed.
• New concept branding.

50% Web Development (Word Press)

• Web development includes website hosting, ensure websites looks and function properly, troubleshoot website problems when they arise.
• SEO experience strongly preferred.
• Copywriting ability preferred.
• Monitor website traffic (google analytics).
• Email acquisition.
• Website design.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts in graphic design (or similar) strongly preferred.
• Background in food and beverage design required.
• Hospitable, enjoys working with a team, good collaborator and communicator
