Job Summary:
Under minimal supervision, oversees the operation of various production line machines that automatically sort and filter almonds to customer specifications and remove byproducts that were collected during harvest (e.g. rocks, stems, etc.).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Oversees the production process ensuring product flow is constant; adjusts the flow of when necessary. Engages in minor trouble shooting of line equipment.
- Changes grader screens to meet scheduled production (Count Per Ounce-CPO) demands and assist in routing all scheduled product through the rerun system.
- Assists Department Lead with startup and shutdown of the Grader system.
- Engages in change-overs, clean out system, and shut down for another type of raw material.
- Reviews grading schedule for raw material type to be processed, grade and warehouse from which product will be coming.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

- 5 years of production /operations experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to lift 50 lb. Must be able to ascend and descend vertical ladders repetitiously and work from elevated locations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environment consists of working in the proximity of moving machinery producing a high level of noise and almond dust.
