Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Food & Beverage Manager” for Gold Dust West Reno. The GDW Reno is located in the central downtown gaming district and has been a local’s favorite since 1977. It features the latest and hottest slot machines, full-service bars, and the ever-popular Grille restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Overseeing all aspects of the Food & Beverage department
- Works with General Manager and Executive Chef daily to coordinate special functions, quality control and proper service requirements, while maintaining proper staffing levels
- Ensures that all food and beverage products served meet the established specifications and standards
- Ensures that proper levels of service are provided based off forecasted needs with the minimum level of labor used to perform the required level of service
- Completes the required financial reports
- Ensures that all service equipment is handled safely and with reasonable care, reporting mechanical problems to the proper department for repair
- Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable work environment for employees and guests
- Ensure proper training to employee
- Responsible for food and beverage costs and controls
Skills, Education and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years Equivalent Work Experience
- Must have Hi-volume restaurant and/or bar experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to clearly communicate with Guests in conversational English
- Must have prior cash handling experience
- Nevada Alcohol Awareness card
- Gaming Registration
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
