Job description
As a Global Product Manager, you will manage the Global Product line to include pricing, strategy, new product development, and planning. This position is located at our Sylmar, CA. location and reports to the Global Platforms Director of Coatings and Sealants.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for strategic product line management
Global accountability for strategy implementation, pricing, new product commercialization, business development, and achieving growth goals
Develop and attain the sales and profitability goals for the global Packaging business
Develop global business strategy and implement strategies to gain market share
Build strategic business development
Identify new product development opportunities and lead new product introduction
Develop and implement qualification plans for new products
Develop global pricing
Track and map competitive activities
Lead acquisition activities in the Packaging segment
Guide De-risking strategy for Packaging Platform
Support ASCs from a marketing & technical perspective
Manage activity with key accounts in all regions
Support sales team members with joint customer visits
Prepare platform / product presentation for use at customer sites
Coordinate trade show / advertising participation
Compile Packaging contribution to Business Strategy Review process
Salary Range $120,000-$160,000 plus annual bonus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent studies and 10 years sales and marketing experience in an industrial B to B environment- MBA preferred
Must be able to speak, read, write and interpret technical information.
Requires 25% annual travel
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
