GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop maximum athletic potential and characteristics of good citizenship and sportsmanship of student athletics through proper conditioning, example and teaching. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: 1. Make periodic reviews of the grades of students during the course of the season. 2.

Train managers, timers, and scorers. 3. Be aware of and enforce MIAA regulations. 4.

Provide reports in writing within twenty-four hours to the athletic director of major infractions of accepted school rules and policies by any student participant during any aspect of the athletic program. The Athletic Director will make a final decision as to disciplinary action to be taken. 5. See that injured athletes are properly cared for and rehabilitated.

6. Work with the Athletic Director in scheduling practices, games and scrimmages. 7. Prepare budget requests and specifications for submission to the Athletic Director.

8. Be responsible for equipment and uniform inventory during the season. 9. Assign and keep records for athletic lockers.10.

Provide results and reports of home contests to newspapers.11. Attend award ceremonies, athletic banquets, etc. as required by the Athletic Director.12. Be directly responsible to the Athletic Director.13.

Write a report of the team record after the season.14.Accompany and supervise student athletes from the start of practice and /or athletic competition until each student athlete has left the school via late bus or parent pick up.
