Responsibilities:
Oversees the Gift Shop & Volunteer Services and is responsible for the day-to-day operations. Orders supplies/different product lines and participates in the buyer team. Unpack, check-in and price merchandise. Restock displays & decorates Gift Shop. Run monthly cash register report, track daily sales and inventory categories. Distribute vendor invoices to be paid by the accounting dept. Develops the policies and programs of the Volunteers within the hospital. Advises & consults with administration, department heads, supervisors & employees in all areas pertaining to volunteer management & its policies. Recruits, trains, supervise & dismiss volunteers as needed to meet the needs of the hospital.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires)
2. Two years in retail or sales preferred.
3. Merchandise display preferred.
4. Experience working with volunteers preferred.
5. Cash register, calculator and computer experience necessary.
6. Strong Customer Service required
