Basic Function

The GHG Reporting Lead, Americas manages, analyzes, and validates controls on the reported GHG data. The role requires a strong understanding of controls and audit principles. The role analyzes data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The GHG Reporting Lead will work closely with site managers, engineers, and ESG specialists to maintain reporting capability. The GHG Reporting Lead plays a key role in GHG report preparation and forecasting.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with managers, engineers, and the ESG specialists to develop and maintain robust reporting capability
• Conduct forecasting and analysis to support decision making
• Monitor and report on variances
• Ensure accurate data tracking and reporting
• Participate in the development and implementation of controls and systems
• Provide training and support to sites on control issues
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, or related field
• 6-8 years of experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and data analysis techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and present findings in a clear and concise manner
• Experience with report preparation and forecasting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with implementing improvements and processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
