This amazing opportunity as a General Manager is looking for someone with 5+ years' construction project management, design, energy efficiency, building facilities and property maintenance operations.

(CES) General Manager is responsible for meeting goals and objectives of all established programs. includes day to day administration, operations, budget, staff oversight, training, and ensuring contractual compliance, operational excellence, program budget development and adherence.

Education and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, design, energy efficiency, building facilities and property maintenance operations.

• Minimum five years of experience in business administration, generating and managing budgets.

• Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with utilities, federal state, regional and local agencies, community leaders, leaders in the energy efficiency community, and low-income advocates.

  
  This person should also possess the following personal competencies and attributes:

• Self-starter and independent worker. (Entrepreneurial)

• Have worked for or has been a General Contractor and is familiar with AIA and other industry contracts

• Demonstrates sound judgment; understands when to pursue opportunities and how to utilize resources.

• Experience managing multiple projects successfully through ongoing changing priorities.

• Possesses excellent people skills; knows how to create win-win relationships with colleagues and external parties.

• Team player with “can do” attitude. Able to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.

• Professional demeanor and conduct.

• Ability to embrace and adhere to the organization’s Mission, policies and procedures and operating standards.

  
  The ideal candidate will have exceptional people skills, business management experience, construction management experience and be familiar with energy efficiency programs.

  • This position is responsible for providing direction, management, strategic and administrative oversight for the Energy (CES)Division programs and enhancing and expanding revenue. This is full-time, in the Fairfield Office. No remote work.
