Utz Quality Foods is seeking a General Laborer to work from our plant located in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Packer, this candidate will place packaged product into cases or displays and verify that bag labels and seals are correct. Stackers maintain customer requirements pertaining to case orientation and wrapping. Packers and stackers communicate with the Hilo driver and machine operator to ensure proper count at all times. This position works 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday3pm to 11pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain all GMP and Food Safety rules at all times
• Check every bag that is being handled for requirements mandated from the customer
• Keep a clean and sanitary working environment
• Inspect every box confirming that the information on the box matches the information on the Packing Card
• Stack the cases and/or displays on the correct pallets, with the correct number of cases, properly labeled, stacked, and wrapped neatly
• Verify that cases and pallets are labelled correctly
• Apply skid sheets to completed pallets
• Assist with cleaning during changeovers and end of the week cleans
