Description:

As the Fuel Delivery Driver will be responsible for “short tank delivery” of gasoline/oil to customers. The primary workload is in Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Ozaukee County. The job will entail multiple fuel deliveries each day to customers per homes, construction sites, businesses etc. This would include unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with product, and collecting payment, if necessary.

  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of the Company.
  • Drives company trucks to destinations and operates equipment to transport fuel.
  • Provides gasoline deliveries to customers, which includes assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with product, and collecting payment, if necessary.
  • Pulls product from local terminal and transports the correct amount and type of fuel to customer locations.
  • Comply with loading/unloading procedures for the appropriate loads being transported.
  • Follows dispatch directions accurately as communicated for most efficient driving patterns to maintain excellent customer service and increase petroleum profit.
  • Completes driver daily logs and all necessary delivery tickets, trip reports, fuel reports, damage reports, and other paperwork required by company, to be turned in as instructed.
  • Makes skillful and timely decisions and possesses good judgment regarding road conditions and any other external factors to prevent the loss of life and property.
  • Represent the Company to our customers, the public and the trucking industry in a professional manner at all times.
  • Completes pre/post inspections on trucks including but not limited to examining tires, engine, equipment, doors, compartments and hoses.
  • Maximizes revenue and minimizes expenses via reduction of incidents, accidents and occurrences and complies with DOT standards.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma.
  • Requires a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B), including appropriate endorsements; Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N). Five years driving experience.
  • Must be authorized to operate a vehicle containing a full air brake system.
  • Ability to drive for up to 10 hours and work a total of 12 hours, while transporting hazardous materials and sitting for extended periods of time in a tank truck.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
