FRONT OF THE HOUSE TEAM MEMBER

Gelato Granucci is looking for a part-time team member in our downtown Palm Springs location to serve our artisan gelato and perform the tasks necessary to maintain a clean and professional storefront. REQUIREMENTS

-18 or older

-A friendly demeanor, team player, and customer service skills

-Able to work in a fast paced environment

-Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekend hours

-Ability to work around dairy and nut products for up to 8 hours

- Access to reliable transportation

-Able to stand for hours at a time

-Able to lift and move heavy objects for storage and cleaning purposes

-Food Handler’s card required which will be paid for by Gelato Granucci, if needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Serve customers our gelato and other frozen treats in our store and at events.

-Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner

-Clean the serving area, gelato counter, and the front of the store

-Open and Close the store (fully clean front and back, clean equipment as required, set-up/take down customer seating and tables, etc.)

-Operate Point of Sale terminal

-Any other tasks as assigned

Job Info

Part time position.

Pay: $15.5-$16 an hour plus tips (both credit card and cash)

Will be paid for training and receive paid sick time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
