The Front Desk Receptionist is the first and last interaction clients have at Yoso which means this position is vital to the quality of the business.

This position oversees and performs front desk duties including, but not limited to, greeting and checking in clients; handling paperwork; collecting payments; coordinating appointments; answering phones; maintaining client profiles as well as a welcoming atmosphere; and assisting in preparing treatment rooms. Compensation: hourly wage commensurate based on experience plus additional fringe benefits Job Responsibilities:

* Greet and check in clients.

  • Process payments, sales and manage daily point of sale. Reconcile daily sales and complete light accounting duties (Section B).
  • Address client questions, answer general questions regarding treatments and products, and provide superior customer service, both in person and on the phone.
  • Manage missed calls, emails, auto online messages, Yelp reviews, Google messenger and any other modes of customer/employee communication.
  • Educate clients on spa services and marketing promotions.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the general spa, especially the front desk & front side of spa.
  • Interface with multi-level practitioners (from seasoned estheticians to new nail technicians) in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist in the inventory control and ordering of oce and spa supplies when needed.
  • Additional duties (Section B), as required.

  • Knowledge and use of general oce equipment: phone, copier, fax machine, credit card machine, etc.
  • Computer skills: MS Oce, Google Drive, MindBody required.
  • Will train on MindBody.
  • Experience working the front desk of a spa is a plus, but not required.

  • Section B* Please note that training will be provided in all areas of additional duties. Additional duties as required are as followed, but not limited to: ● *Laundry : *Wash & Fold linens used in treatment rooms. Primarily done by front desk, however service providers will help as able when not in appointments. ● *Bathroom : *Clean space and maintain supplies. \*All employees are required to maintain a clean bathroom and refill supplies as needed during work hours. ● *Plants : *Care for and water spa plants weekly/ as needed. This requires communication about watering so the plants are not neglected or overwatered. Bring management's attention to plants that require more than basic care. ● *Trash & Recycling : *Trash and recycling should be collected and taken to receptacles for collection in the building collection area. This requires planning ahead as trash should be taken out before the end of the shift as needed. ● *Treatment area *Check over treatment area before lunch break and before EOD to spot sweep & collect laundry as needed. Treatment providers are required to sweep & remove trash from their rooms before EOD to ensure cleanliness. ● *Assist in social media & marketing eorts such as : *Recording videos & taking photos for spa use. Active appearance in media is not required (photo release explained in additional information). ● *Optional participation in training and professional development : *Participating as a model for the owner and providers to teach techniques, protocols, and services as professional development.
