We are a longstanding family run practice, managed by a father and son, looking for outgoing front desk staff with strong interpersonal skills to join our dental office. Experience is required, as well as the ability to work with Dentrix software. Our modern, fully digital practice provides restorative care, fixed and removable prosthodontics, extractions, endodontics, and implant restorations.
For 30+ years we have believed in treating our patients and staff like family and are looking for new front office staff who feel suited to this environment. We desire a candidate who enjoys working with people, and sees the value in maintaining organization and a full schedule, so we see the most smiling faces going in and out of our office
Experience with processing dental insurance, dental assisting, and Bi-lingual Spanish are big pluses
Dental Office Front Desk Responsible for:
1. Greeting patients, check-in/check-out, & responding to patient questions and/or concerns
2. Effective and efficient management of the office schedule – keeping the schedule full & responding to changes promptly to fill vacancies.
3. Answering phones, checking messages, and following up.
4. Patient contact, intake, insurance processing, and management of patient charts
5. Managing patient payments, checking emails, sorting mail
6. Scanning documents, checking & printing reports, and sending reports proper entities (ex: eAssist, specialists, etc.)
7. Management of patient forms, treatment plans, insurance information, and medical history
8. Daily & monthly closing
9. Lab case Management
10. Ordering
11. In-Office computer network & software maintenance & management
12. Special projects as needed
Cross-Training/Assisting responsibilities:
1. Sanitizing instruments when needed
2. Sanitizing & cleaning rooms when needed
3. Equipment Maintenance
4. Training Available
Qualifications
- Dental/Medical front desk experience and strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of Dentrix, Gmail, Excel & Google applications
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoyment in dealing with people
- excellent organizational & follow-up skills
- Bi-lingual in Spanish & previous dental assisting experience are huge plusses

Hours
- Monday - Thursday, every other Saturday(7:30am-1:30pm) And Fridays (Beginning Spring 2023)
- 30-35 hours per week
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
