Personal Banking & Wealth Management (PBWM) FP&A is a high-caliber team providing financial support to the PBWM CFO and CEO. The team partners closely with the various regions, products, and functions to analyze and present financial results and develop strategies to address high-priority initiatives. FP&A has the unique position of seeing a holistic and strategic view of the business and the industry, both internally as well as externally through collaboration in earnings and investor communications. Success in the role will ensure the candidate has a strong network throughout Citi and a firm understanding of the key strategic and financial priorities of a leading global financial institution.
PBWM consists of U.S. Personal Banking – inclusive of Branded Cards, Retail Services and U.S. Retail Banking – and Global Wealth Management – inclusive of our consumer wealth businesses and the global Citi Private Bank.
The VP FP&A Lead Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to the Global Networks Business.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and regional finance teams to drive execution of the Global Network financial processes
- Analyze results against Plan/Outlook and assess risk & opportunity to support timely business decisions
- Create material for management review process including reviews with PBWM CFO and PF&A Head
- Respond quickly, timely and accurately to urgent requirements and senior management data needs
- Drive continuous enhancement of governance and controls, and support FP&A transformation efforts within PBWM Finance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the businesses, regional and corporate finance and other functional teams
Qualifications:
- 7 years of relevant experience in financial services
- Expertise in financial modeling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with enterprise financial software
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and lead multiple deliverables and resetting priorities as appropriate
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of the organization
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
