Job description

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will follow specified guidelines when moving materials, as well as adhere to federal, state and local safety laws in order to ensure the protection of personnel. The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of safe material handling procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift truck.
• Handle materials carefully.
• Pay close attention to where forklift is moving.
• Stack materials neatly and in accordance with established standards.
• Use hand signals when communicating with co-workers or supervisors.
• Be aware of temperature and humidity to prevent materials from warping.
• Wear a seatbelt or other safety equipment when operating a forklift truck.
• Ability to successfully complete pre-employment back-ground and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
