Job description

Primary Tasks:
Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. Work from receiving sheets, computer print-out, established procedures and practices, written and /or verbal instructions. Locate and perform count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transport to appropriate area with Forklift / Hi-Lift / Power Jack. Inspect items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks and take appropriate action as needed. Locate proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with Forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into radio frequency (RF) unit or handheld device. Replenish pick slots without going stock items according to next days work orders.

Requirements: Bending, Twisting, Standing, Sitting, and Lifting

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months Complete Forklift / Power jack training and obtain a certificate; prior warehouse environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Budd Lake, NJ 07828: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
