Turf Hotels, Inc. is currently looking for a Food & Beverage Manager. We are looking for someone that is passionate about food who will create exceptional guest experiences and create a work environment where our team members thrive and feel valued. As Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be responsible for assisting in overseeing and directing the daily operation of the Food & Beverage operation and protection of the asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, if needed.
• Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance and breakdown of the managers reception.
• Recruit, interview and train team members.
• Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting coach and counseling and performance evaluations.
• Review all Banquet Event Orders to ensure proper staffing levels for conferences and meetings.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner.
• Monitor and assess product quality, service and guest satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Compliance of brand and quality assurance standards.
• Conduct food and beverage inventories monthly.
• Develop weekly staff work schedule, based on forecasted occupancy while monitoring labor costs in accordance with budget.
• Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
• Performs any other duties as requested by general manager.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.
• College work in related field helpful.
• At least two years of food and beverage experience
• Prior guest service experience in hospitality environment is preferred
• Ability to interpret and perform intermediate computer functions.
• Must be proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
