Description
Title: Floral Clerk
Classification: Non-Exempt
Floral clerk ensures that floral displays, and shelving are maintained well stocked, clean,
organized, and presentable. Cull and rotates product to ensure freshness and quality control.
Offers assistance to customers to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
Requirements
- Must exhibit a responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to provide proof of employment eligibility in the US.
- Must be able to work around various fruits, vegetables and plant items with no allergic consequences that may affect job performance.
- Must be able to work in refrigerated coolers and around humidity for short periods of time.
- Ability to learn all types of floral product.
- Ability to care for floral products
- Learn to use tools/equipment used in the department.
- Must be able to effectively work in a fast paced, crowded environment; work with sense of urgency.
- Prior floral experience preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of English language.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.75 - $18.75 per hour
