FLOOR & INVENTORY LEAD

• Title: Floor & Inventory Supervisor; Beekman 1802 Kindness Shop
• Location: Sharon Springs, NY
• Hours & Schedule: varied day shifts, weekends and holidays required
• Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
• Reports to: Sr Manager
• Supervisory Role: Yes
• Physically Demands + Work Environment: This job operates in a retail environment and is regularly required to use an iPad and laptop computer. This role requires the employee to work a retail floor for the majority or their shift. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see. The employee is frequently required to climb stairs, sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

YOU WILL:

• Be responsible for maintaining our customer experience, visual and floor standards, and team needs
• Assist the Manager in daily duties and responsibilities including but not limited to inventory management, trainings/orientations, correspondence and projects within the village, shop-centered events, maintenance projects, and cash management.
• Act as and support Shop Experts in their role
• Maintain/enforce/and abide by safety protocols, processes, and standards among customers, staff and visitors
• Work weekends and holidays
• Serve as a brand ambassador within the village, among our customers, and to the general public.
• Focus on achieving personal/daily sales goals and KPIs
• Open and close the Shop; you will be entrusted with a key
• Greet, listen to, and make product suggestions to our customers
• Gather and make product samples as requested
• Answer questions regarding our brand, our Founders, the Farm, the Shop, and our merchandise
• Take phone calls, messages, and complete pickup/phone orders
• Complete purchase transactions; including gathering customers' details and information
• Complete our daily checklists which include but are not limited to dusting, sweeping, sanitizing, and cleaning bathrooms
• Stay up to date on current and discontinued Beekman 1802 products and partnerships
• Take initiative, accept responsibility, and go above and beyond to create a luxurious, welcoming, and personalized experience for every customer you interact with

YOU HAVE:

• 2+ years of relevant sales/retail experience
• 1+ year lead/supervisory experience
• Strong, positive, and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to get along with diverse personalities
• Strong technical skills, and understanding of different technologies; including MS Office Suite, Facebook, Instagram, iPads, PC computers, printers, and varying software
• Extremely flexible, highly organized, able to multi-task, and excellent time management/prioritization skills
• A commitment to inclusivity, a roll up your sleeves attitude, and a willingness to help your Neighbor
• Interest in the beauty or skincare industry, experience in the industry is a plus
• High school equivalency
