A Salt Lake real estate investment firm has an immediate opening for a data driven auditor to review and audit the past, current, and future initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct financial audits utilizing the latest industry and financial tools and technology for reliability and accuracy.
• Present audit reports for in house compliance with written process and procedures.
• Preforms effective risk and control assessments.
• Provide financial analysis and audit company’s investment strategies.
• Completes reliable and timely audit reports to the company CEO.
• Review and collaborate with the company’s financial team members to update process and procedures for accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as an auditor
• In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices
• Updated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Integrity and reliability
• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance; master’s degree and professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) are required
• Available for travel to satellite company offices
• Effectively works independently, within a team and across teams in a fast-paced environment to drive business results, utilizing related project management skills, employing creative thinking, and the ability to work on competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that deliver quality, actionable and beneficial feedback to audit management on potential compliance control issues and solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
