SUMMARY
Track, collect, and report project costs; calculate estimates of cost, revenue, and pricing, and monitor capital budgets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
- Partners, facilitates, and supports IT functions related to Service Level Agreement (SLA) billings, vendor service billings, and performance metrics; leads cost saving initiatives by collaboratively working with key business and IT leaders.
- Ensures data integrity of all IT infrastructure allocations.
- Works with IT technical resources to develop policies, procedures, and systems to support IT cost accounting.
- Executes processes and policies to ensure fair and accurate accounting, financial practices and reporting.
- Monitors monthly performance against budget, estimates and prior years.
- Performs and tracks cost/benefit analysis for capital acquisitions and other IT expense projects.
- Manages and leads IT annual planning, budgeting processes and headcount formulation.
- Ensures operational data synchronization with financial statements while ensuring overall data integrity.
- Develops, implements, and tracks unit key indicators within technology in partnership with IT management.
- Initiates, drives, and implements activities to improve overall financial reporting and analysis of supporting areas.
- Participates in on-going departmental process improvements.
- Develops proactive finance and analytical tools including cost models and departmental scorecards.
- Preforms other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
No management/supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field, and at least 7 years of financial planning and analysis experience with a primary background in technology financial analysis budgets and forecasts or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Hardware and software lifecycle management experience preferred. Mergers and acquisitions experience preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft Financials preferred.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Working knowledge of all areas of accounting.
- Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in finance/accounting and information technology.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills including attention to details and self-motivation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create pro-forma P&L views to track scenarios to budget.
- Ability to building strong interdepartmental relationships.
